So who is behind the free daycare software?
A small team of engineers, as it happens. This page answers what a careful director should ask before trusting software with their families: who made it, why it is free, whether it will last, and how to reach a human.
Written by the people who build it. There is no marketing team to write it for us.
February 2026
We are the small team of engineers behind NestliCare. We plan every feature, answer the support email, and run everything else. The company is small by design, and it moves quickly because of it.
NestliCare started when we went looking for daycare software and could not find a single price without booking a sales call. We decided to build the opposite: software that is free for providers, with every fee published where anyone can read it. The model is deliberate, not charitable. When a parent chooses to pay tuition online, a clearly shown fee comes with that payment, and that fee is the company's entire revenue. NestliCare only earns when it is genuinely useful to you, which is exactly the incentive you want your software vendor to have. The full breakdown is on the how we make money page.
If you run a center, we would like to hear from you. Ask the hard questions, and you will get a direct answer from the people accountable for every part of this product.

Tuition never sits with us. Stripe processes every payment and settles directly to your bank account. If NestliCare disappeared tomorrow, your money would be exactly where it belongs: in your account.

April 6, 2026
A parent pays tuition online for the first time. NestliCare earns its first fee, a small slice of one payment.

248 organizations signed up, on web, iPhone and Android. Still a handful of engineers, still free, still no sales team.
From here
The plan is not complicated: keep the software free with every rate public, and earn the next hundred centers one at a time.
What we will never do
Promises age badly when companies grow, get funded, or get sold. These are written here, in public, so you can hold us to them.
Hide pricing behind a demo call
Every rate is public on the pricing page. You will never sit through a sales call to learn a price, because there are no sales calls.
Charge you more for growing
No per-child pricing and no capacity tiers. A center with 200 children pays the same for the software as a home provider with four: nothing.
Make leaving hard
Your data is yours and you can export it whenever you want. There are no contracts and no cancellation forms. Leaving costs nothing.
Put advertising trackers near children's data
No ad pixels and no data brokers. Nothing about you, your staff, your families, or their children is for sale.
Leave you stranded
If NestliCare ever shuts down or changes hands, you will get clear advance notice and your complete data before anything changes for you.
Screenshot this too. It sits alongside the Day One Promise on the pricing page.
About your families' photos and data
Daycare software holds photos of children, which is a heavier responsibility than most software ever carries. In NestliCare, photos and records live in private storage and are shared through expiring links, visible only to the people you have approved: your staff and your enrolled families.
There is no advertising and there are no third-party ad trackers in the apps. The technical detail lives on the security page. If you have a question it does not answer, ask us and we will answer it in writing.
