How we make money
The short answer: when parents pay tuition online, the payment carries one processing fee, and NestliCare keeps a share of it. That is how we make money from daycares. The long answer is below, with numbers.
Where the money comes from
When a parent chooses to pay tuition online, that payment carries one processing fee, shown clearly before they confirm. Stripe is paid out of that fee first, for running the cards and bank debits. What remains after Stripe is NestliCare's revenue. No subscriptions for daycares, no ads, no selling data, no paid tiers behind the daycare software.
A model this thin only works at volume, and that is the point. We earn when the platform is genuinely doing work, moving real tuition for real families. A center that collects only cash and checks pays us nothing at all, and is as welcome as everyone else.
The exact rates for every country we operate in are public on our pricing page. No asterisks.
What providers pay: nothing
Every feature, unlimited children, unlimited staff, unlimited rooms and centers. There are no tiers, no premium plan, and no trial that expires. The account you create today is the whole product, forever.
This is not a stripped-down free version designed to upsell you later. There is no paid version for providers to be upsold to.
And it stays that way for you even if the model ever changes: the Day One Promise on our pricing page says any future paid plan would apply only to centers that join after it exists. Sign up today and the software is free for you, forever.
Why the software itself can be free
AI has collapsed the cost of building and running software. NestliCare is a handful of highly skilled engineers with no offices, no sales floor, and no investors waiting for a payday. Software costs very little to run when nobody is spending millions on advertising and demo teams.
The legacy software makers know this too. They could cut their costs and pass the savings to you. Most would rather keep their prices where they are and hope you never do this math. We would rather be the proof that you did.
We sat through the sales demos too
Before building NestliCare, we shopped for daycare software the way every provider does. The price wasn't on the website, so we booked a demo. Forty minutes into the sales call, the price finally appeared: $49 a month for a small home daycare.
When we started to walk away, the offer suddenly improved. Six months free. And the $329 migration fee? Waived, just for us.
If the price can drop the moment you stand up, you were never seeing the real price.
NestliCare has no sales team, no quote form, and no migration fee. The price is public, and it is zero for providers. You will never negotiate with us, because there is nothing to negotiate.
The NestliCare team
What we will never do
- Sell or share your data, your families' data, or your children's records. Ever.
- Show ads to you, your staff, or your parents.
- Move a feature you rely on behind a paywall.
- Lock you in. Your data is exportable at any time, and leaving takes minutes.
- Charge you later. If we ever introduce a paid plan, it will apply only to centers that join after that day. Centers already on NestliCare keep everything free.
Straight answers
Is the free plan a trial?
No. There is no paid plan for providers, so there is nothing for a trial to convert to.
What happens to my money if NestliCare disappears?
Tuition payments never sit with us. They are processed by Stripe and settle directly to your bank account. And your records are exportable at any time.
Do parents have to pay online?
No. Online payment is a convenience, not a requirement. Families who prefer cash, check, or bank transfer outside the platform can keep paying that way, and you can record those payments in NestliCare for free.
